Bungoma Governor pays school fees for children under county scholarship program

Bungoma Governor Ken Lusaka has honored his pledge to continue funding the County Scholarship program that had been progressed by Former Governor Wycliffe Wangamati.

H.E Lusaka in a meeting with secondary school heads a few days ago had pledged to settle all pending School fees for children under the scholarship program.

“I can now authoritatively report that the following schools have already received the cheques for county Schorlaship beneficiaries” Lusaka said

Among schools that have received cheques for school fees are

  1. Baptist girls
  2. Bungoma high
  3. Cardinal Otunga girls
  4. Kibabii boys
  5. Sikusi secondary
  6. Chwele girls
  7. Chebukaka girls
  8. Teremi boys
  9. Bokoli boys
  10. Chebosi boys
  11. Lugulu girls
  12. Chesamisi high school
  13. Kimilili boys
  14. FSK
  15. Kuywa girls
  16. Namwela secondary.
  17. Luuya Girls 18.St.Cecilia Misikhu Girls
  18. St Kizito Mayanja.

    The Governor has also promised to settle the outstanding balance of school fees for other remaining schools by Tuesday next week.
  19. “On Monday morning Scholarship cheques for the following areas will be delivered to schools.
    1 Siaya Region
    2.West Pokot
    3.Busia
    4 .Kakamega
    5.Nairobi
    6 Coast
    “All schools with Scholarship Students will by latest Tuesday next week have received Cheques. Wacha Watoto Wasome” he said
