Media owners in Bungoma county have agreed to shun from giving coverage to politicians who will spread violent messages as the nation prepares for the 2022 general elections Speaking after a meeting with the former director of Communications authority in Francis Wangusi on 22nd Dec, the owners reiterated that it is good for the nation to be peaceful and will not allow the nation to be divided on the basis of hatred. Mr. James Chanji (Western Television), Mr. Robert Wanyonyi (Tandao Media) also added that it is good for the emerging leaders to work with the media in this country as one way to ensure the country's economy is improved. Francis Wangusi, who has declared his bid to run for Bungoma's governor's office, says he is ready to partner with Media owners to ensure all sectors of economy including Media benefits from the government if he gets the position in 2022.
