We must get on with the business of America…A new administration will be inaugurated on January 20th. My focus now turns to ensuring a smooth, orderly and seamless transition of power. This moment calls for healing and reconciliation.” Trump said
This happened immediately congress formally certified Joe Biden as next US President Thursday dealing a political death blow to Trump whose supporters stormed US Capitol in an effort to overturn Biden’s win hours earlier, triggering unprecedented scenes of mayhem in the seat of American democracy.
