At least 13 civilians lost their lives earlier on Friday in a suicide bombing by the Boko Haram terrorist group in northern Cameroon, local sources said.
According to local residents and security sources, the attack took place in Mozogo in the Mayo-Tsanaga division at around 1am.
The jihadists invaded while a large number of people were asleep. As soon as they were spotted by the area oversight committee and security forces, one jihadist was killed, while another was able to detonate explosives.
The blast killed 13 civilians. A suicide bomber was killed on the spot, according to security sources.
