Bungoma Governor Kenneth Lusaka on Thursday expressed his determination to combat teen pregnancies and has scheduled a meeting with key stakeholders.
During his address to the county administrators, the governor noted with empathy that parents and guardians were facing tough time when children, especially girls who were underage become mothers.
The governor emphasized on the importance of integrity and work ethics for county administrators.
He urged them to avoid using excessive force and warns that anyone who mistreats residents will face legal consequences. Lusaka also mentions that his Cabinet is finalizing a scheme of service for county administration officers to improve their morale.
