Story by Oduch Brian
Leaders of persons with disabilities drawn from across the country under the umbrella of “Sauti Moja” initiative have resolved to unite the 6.5 million Kenyans with disabilities to speak in “ONE VOICE” on matters of national interest and matters touching on the rights of persons with disabilities.
The group wants an irreducible minimum in BBI of creation of a powerful Prime Minister position which must be reserved for a person with disability to bring true inclusivity.
The group further stated that if the President is a man,
The Deputy President must be a woman,
The powerful Prime Minister must be a PWD,
The Deputy Prime Minister must be a youth.
Those present were as follows;
~CBM (Christian Blind Mission) top management led Hon. David Munyendo.
