Police have launched a manhunt for incumbent Kimilili Mp Hon. Didmus Barasa who allegedly shot and killed Brian the PA of his DAP~K opponent Hon Brian Khaemba at Chebukwabi primary school in Kimilili Constituency.
The matter was reported at the police station in Kimilili, Bungoma county.
According to the police report,the deceased had gone to Chebukwabi polling station at around 6pm today ( 9th August 2022) to witness the counting of vote and upon entering the said polling station,he met Hon.
Didmus Barasa the incumbent MP for Kimilili constituency.After about three minutes, Mr. Brian Khaemba decided to leave the station and headed to his car Reg. No. KCR 050J where Hon. Didmus Barasa followed him in company of four men and ordered them not to allow him(Mr. Brian Khaemba) to leave the place but Mr Khaemba’s driver one Joshua Nasokho defied the order and ignited the vehicle.
It’s alleged that Hon. Didmus Barasa withdrew a pistol and aimed at Mr Khaemba’s aide namely Brian Olunga and shot him on the forehead where profusely bleeded.
He was rushed to Kimilili sub-county hospital where he succumbed while undergoing treatment. Body lying at the hospital. Sccio Kimilili dealing. Case P.A.KA.
