Atheists in Kenya (AIK) society has appointed Ms. Emmah Shisoka as their new secretary replacing former secretary Seth Mahiga who resigned noting that he had found Jesus Christ.
The organization has announced the appointment in a Facebook post. ” Meet our incoming Secretary, Ms. EMMAH SHISOKA. Let us congratulate her for accepting to take up this position.”
Mumia in a statement on Saturday rendered the position vacant calling on Kenyan atheists to send in their applications.
“We wish Seth all the best in his newfound relationship with Jesus Christ. We thank him for having served the society with dedication in the last one and half years,” AIK president Harrison Mumia said.
“The position of Secretary to the Society has been rendered vacant. We are calling upon Kenyan atheists who would want to join our Executive Committee to send their CVs to info@atheistsinkenya.org,” Mumia concluded.
