Nairobi musician Chris Adwar has expressed skepticism towards the teachings of todayâs preachers who preach prosperity and claim that men are gods.
He has specifically disagreed with Pastor Tee Mwangiâs revival call and Joshua Selmanâs belief that obedient Christians should never be broke.
Adwar has also criticized prophet Bushiriâs wealth transfer crossover service on December 31st, questioning the difference between Bushiri and Joshua Selman, who believes that obedient Christians should never be broke.
âWhatâs the difference between this man (Prophet Bushiri)âwho I know you donât agree withâand Joshua Selman who says any obedient Christian should never be broke and that the name of Jesus is so heavy it requires resources to lift, and a that you are holy spirits. Wacha! (For avoidance of doubt, I mean the man in the picture.-Bushiri).
Adwar has also sent his religious criticisms towards Bahamas based preacher Kevin L. Ewing, known for dream interpretation sermons, stating that he used to believe eating in a dream was making a covenant with demons due to Ewingâs teachings.
âThere was a time not too long ago, I believed eating in a dream was making a covenant with demons. Iâd have to wake up and denounce the covenant and repent and then pray on the full armor of God đ¤Śđžââď¸ before I tandika sleep again, and then nyama choma would toklezea and I would eat again, and then repeat the process. đ¤ŁI learnt that nonsense from a guy called Kevin L. Ewing. High key sus! Wouldnât recommend. Sasa si this poor kido wouldâve tafunad âgenerational cursesâ to no end? Aki ujinga wewe. đ¤Śđžââď¸ ( Now this poor kid wouldâve eaten generational curses to No end)â he said
Recently, Adwar reacted to a video of embattled preacher T.D. Jakes watching a man twerking to Beyonceâs song on his TV show, questioning whether it is something to be angry over if your pastor gets excited over a fellow man twerking.
âKufurahia chali akitwerk na aki-vogue wimbo ya Beyonce ni kitu ya kujamia pastor wako?â (Your pastor Gets excited over a fellow man twerking on Beyonceâs song, is it something for you to be angry over?)
The American preacher and senior pastor of The Potterâs House T.D. Jakes has recently dismissed claims that he was an attendee of parties held by music mogul Sean Combs, popularly known as Diddy.
This comes days after unverified reports on social media associated him with wild parties hosted by the musician.
While addressing congregants over the weekend, the 66-year-old preacher said he would not use the pulpit to address a lie when he had a chance to speak the truth.
