Some individuals, he says, have been greeting him in this manner for years without any further communication.
“I get thousands of messages with “hi” only. Some people have been greeting me for years without saying anything else!”
The CNN correspondent expressed his frustration with these thousands of messages.
“Don’t do this. I’d love to respond to every message but I can’t because it would be a full time job. So if you write to me, please say why you’re reaching out. I love hearing from you but not like this” he said
