Former Vice president and Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka is not amused that people are afraid to face Deputy President William Ruto in the forthcoming 2022 General Election.
Speaking on Sunday, September 12, the supercharged Kalonzo said he was looking forward to being given an opportunity to fight it out with the DP on the ballot.
“The only thing that I look forward to is being given an opportunity to fight it out with William Ruto. I don’t know why people are afraid of him. They assume he is kind of a scare thing,” said Kalonzo.
While dismissing Ruto’s popularity, Kalonzo said Ruto has been campaigning alone and the ground may be perceived to favour him for lack of competition.
However, Kalonzo said he had a plan to tackle pertinent issues facing Kenyans that he would use to woo Ruto’s supposed numbers saying he was best placed to fight corruption in Kenya.
“I think Kenyans know if there is one person able to handle corruption head-on and slay the ghost of corruption is Steven Kalonzo Musyoka,” he added.
Due to the economic narrative thay many politicians are now vouching for, the one term vice president said his strategy hinges on having a 24hour economy which he said would transform Kenya.
