A family in Kiambu county is left in shock and pain after the death of their daughter who died in a grisly road accident over the weekend.
Cynthia Waithira died in a road accident in Gilgil on Saturday, September 10, the day she was born.
According to eyewitnesses, the Toyota Fielder that she was traveling in had a head on collision with a speeding Subaru.
Waithira who was in the back seat was tossed through the windscreen and landed on the tarmac where she died instantly due to the impact.
The recent Moi University graduate and her friends were travelling from Nairobi where they were celebrating her birthday.
She was an only child to a reknowned salonist identified as Shiru Wa Salon and had just graduated from Moi University two weeks ago.
