Management expert In race to Oust Wamunyinyi

A battle royale is shaping up for the kanduyi parliamentary seat. The Federal Party of Kenya candidate Hon. Rodgers Siboe, is high on the hills to dethrone the incumbent MP wafula wamunyinyi. The youthful leader says he is “Deeply Honored” to serve the people of Kanduyi and banks his bid on Women, Youths and People Living with disabilities whom he says have been neglected by the current leadership.

“Youths are at the core of development any nation, they play and imperative role that needs to be upheld, this is the reason why I am donating myself to Kanduyi people and I want to serve them well,” he noted.

Siboe has a common touch that resonates with residents of Kanduyi who have felt locked out of the power matrix controlled by two long serving MP-Wafula Wamunyinyi. 

“I want good usage of the National Government Constituencies Development Fund, the current leadership is inadequate. I will bring changes that will benefit everyone,” he said.

His entry in the race has sent his rivals back to the drawing board, as his candidature has widely been supported by kanduyi residents who expressed their confidence that he will bring the positive change to the constituency.

“We are tired of the current system in Kanduyi, we want a change, a fellow youth like Rodgers. we have had leaders before who care less about us, especially the boda boda.” James shikuku, Resident, Kanduyi

He is seen as as the man who hopes to change Kanduyi constituency, Rodgers Siboe, born and raised in Bungoma county, holder of two degrees in accounting and Community development from the university of Nairobi. his first assignment would be to churn development for the expansive kanduyi constituency should he be elected as the mp.but The road to the parliament is long, expensive, and exhausting.

Becoming a candidate is only the beginning of the election process. Successful candidates must both persuade voters that they deserve their individual votes and garner the critical votes of electors in the constituency.on our aspirant corner hon rodgers siboe explains his manifesto and how he intends to to implement it if kanduyi residents elect him as their next mp.

” I have plans to uplift the lives of People of Kanduyi. I will set up ICT centres in every ward, and install development projects for women, Persons with Disability, and education. I have plans to initiate modern School infrastracture, I will give bursaries in the comstituency without favoritism” He said

Hon. rodgers siboe is a management expert, an entrepreneur and has international connections to help in creating projects that will cater for youths, women and People Living with disabilities. Siboe retired at the age of 34 from the banking sector to venture into business and transport. He holds Masters Degree from University of Nairobi (Management, Project Management)

Political pundits have argued that the Kanduyi constituency contest will be about the candidates’ manifesto and not really parties or coalitions ponsoring them.

According to last Mizani Africa opinion polls, Kanduyi Member of Parliament Athanus Wafula Wamunyinyi would lose his re-election bid in August 2022. Rodgers Siboe has recently been closing gaps to clinch the top position due to his Manifesto that resonates well with youth, women, and the communities’ needs in the constituency
