Report on the Status of Karasani and Nyayo Stadiums

Sports Cabinet Secretary Kipchumba Murkomen provided an update regarding the preparations for the Moi International Sports Centre, Kasarani, and Nyayo National Stadium in anticipation of the upcoming African Nations Championship (CHAN) and the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) tournaments.

During a recent inspection of the facilities, Murkomen expressed satisfaction with the speed and quality of the ongoing renovations. He noted that the current progress instills confidence that the projects will meet the deadlines established by the Confederation of African Football (CAF).

The construction teams conveyed their commitment to exceeding expectations, emphasizing their personal motivation to complete the venues on time, reflecting the pride of the nation in hosting these significant events.
