Celebrities mourn fashion designer & LGBTQ activist Edwin Chiloba who was found dead. His body had been stuffed in a metallic box.
Anita Nderu: “We differ on so many things but we find ways to cope, why are you putting an end to someone’s life?”
In early July 2022, Edwin Chiloba posted horrific photos on his Instagram (that were later deleted), after he was attacked and assaulted ostensibly because of who he was and his work in gender-fluid fashion and content.
The body of Chiloba had decomposed inside a metal box at Kipkenyo, Kapseret, Uasin Gishu County.
It was dropped by a plate less car at noon.
On his last night out, he was dancing to Sauti Sol’s Live And Die In Afrika.
A video has emerged online showing slain LGBTQ model Edwin Chiloba’s last moments partying with his friends.
His body was found clothed in the same outfit he had on while partying in the club.
Edwin Chiloba had posted cryptic messages on his Facebook account. On one of his posts, he posted “Edwin the ones who tried to bury you didn’t know you were a seed,” Edwin Chiloba said on Facebook.
On January 3, residents of a village in Kapseret woke up to shocking news of a decomposing body in a metallic box.
Police took the body to a mortuary and have so far identified the body as that of model Edwin Chiloba.
